A message from London Borough of Hounslow Carers Team: A topic relatively unknown by elderly patients is that some pay for care when they should not do so. Beacon is a leading UK-wide social enterprise to help lead you through the maze of NHS continuing healthcare. They will give you advice about NHS Continuing Healthcare - a package of care that some people are entitled to receive as a result of disability, accident or illness. Eligible people are entitled to NHS funding for the full cost of care and accommodation. Get in touch with Beacon - they provide free consultations of up to 90 minutes with an independent NHS continuing healthcare adviser. This is funded by NHS England. For more information, visit Beacon’s website or call them on 0345 548 0300.
