How it all started On the 10th August 1986 Hounslow Pensioners Forum (HPF) started as a campaigning organisation for older people’s rights.
Application for charity status was initially turned down by the Charity Commission on two occasions. Hounslow Pensioners Forum was a campaigning organisation at that stage, and for an organisation to be charitable it had to have exclusively charitable purposes.
The Constitution was adopted on the 30th of March 1999 and amended on the 29th of March 2000 to comply with the Charity Commission recommendations.
Hounslow Pensioners Forum was granted Charity Status on the 27th of April 2000.
Our main objective To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of senior citizens within the London Borough of Hounslow.
